🎬 Day 2 at PAIFF: The Stories Keep Coming!

After a spectacular opening night, we’re still glowing from the energy at the Nauti Burro—a huge thank you to everyone who checked in, shared a smile, and joined us for an unforgettable evening of music videos, shorts, and powerful documentaries. We’re off to a phenomenal start, and Day 2 is packed with even more bold storytelling and boundary-pushing cinema!

Today’s festivities begin early, with screenings at Munchy’s from 10AM to 3PM. Grab your coffee, settle in, and prepare to be moved:

🎸 The Graceless Age: The Ballad of John Murry (Ireland) kicks us off with a raw, emotional dive into the life of a troubled yet brilliant songwriter, weaving a tale of recovery and redemption through music.🎭 Love Hides in the Open (UK) brings us an awkwardly hilarious and unsettling journey into obsession, surveillance, and unexpected consequences.🎨 The Uvalde Love Project (USA) offers a deeply emotional reflection on healing through art after unthinkable tragedy.🧠 Capacity In Reserve (USA) introduces us to a man who lost his memory but found his spirit, followed by a virtual Q&A with filmmaker Brandon Harrop.🏞️ Come Out Wherever You Are (USA) brings a richly layered story of reinvention, redemption, and quiet resilience.🖼️ Out Of The Picture (USA) closes the early session with a provocative look at modern art criticism and its place in an ever-evolving cultural world.

Then tonight, the Divot and Nauti Burro come alive with two parallel late-night sessions from 7PM to 10:30PM, each brimming with stories to stir your imagination:

📍 Screen A at The Divot features:✨ Conscious Co-Working (Mexico), WORLD FESTIVAL PREMIERE, a soulful docuseries on spiritual entrepreneurship with a Q&A by filmmaker Matt Crowe. 🎥 The Premiere (USA), a surreal, comedic spiral into the chaos of first-time filmmaking.🌍 Historias del Canal (Panama), an epic tapestry of five interwoven stories chronicling a century of transformation, followed by a Q&A with actor Keith Furones.

📍 Screen B at Nauti Burro offers:🕵️ Somewhere Confidential (USA), a wildly creative noir bursting with bizarre twists and unforgettable characters.⚖️ Some Kind of Justice (USA), a powerful thriller exploring grief, vengeance, and the human cost of a broken justice system.

Remember: If you haven’t checked in yet, you can do so at any screening venue before your session. Just look for our friendly volunteers—they’ll get you sorted with your credentials. Seating is reserved for pass holders, and as always, first arrivals get first pick of seats, so show up early for the best view!

And—we’re still buzzing about it—the Puerto Aventuras Hotel & Beach Club is now officially open, and we can’t wait to welcome you there for Friday and Saturday’s evening events. It’s going to be magical.

Thank you again for being part of the PAIFF community. This festival is only as strong as the people who show up for stories, for truth, and for the shared experience of cinema. Let's keep the magic rolling!
