🌿 Beautiful Films, Big Turnout & Festival Energy in Full Swing!

Day 3 of the Puerto Aventuras International Film Festival brought sunshine, heartfelt storytelling, and one of our strongest showings yet at the newly opened Puerto Aventuras Hotel & Beach Club. Both Screen A and Screen B saw excellent turnouts, with guests filling the venue inside and out, soaking in an evening of bold premieres and powerful performances under the Riviera Maya skies.

From the deeply spiritual Guardians to the mind-bending suspense of FEAR and the whimsical intensity of Sahara: End of The Trip, the diversity of voices and genres on display was nothing short of inspiring. We also continued to see fantastic participation in our audience film rating system, helping shape the festival’s standout stories and giving filmmakers valuable feedback in real time.

The energy was electric, and now we’re gearing up for what promises to be another unforgettable night!

  • Greenpeace presenta: Voces de la Selva Maya (Mexico) – WORLD FESTIVAL PREMIERE + Q&A – A hard-hitting look at deforestation in Mexico’s Mayan jungle, giving voice to Indigenous resistance movements.

🎥 Screen B (6PM–9:30PM)

  • Katabasis (Italy) – A visually stunning meditation on trauma, love, and the blurred boundaries between reality and the underworld.

🎨 Don’t forget—our silent auction of the original acrylic painting by Jesse Montenegro continues to receive strong interest! You still have a chance to place your bid on this festival-exclusive artwork through Sunday morning’s session.

As we move into the weekend, we’re feeling deeply grateful for the community forming around this festival—filmmakers, film lovers, and curious minds from around the world, all sharing in this unforgettable celebration of cinema by the sea.

See you tonight for an evening of premieres, Q&As, and powerful storytelling at the PA Beach Club!
